Using the Crop tool to crop an image is the most appropriate tool to crop an image with a box shape, in contrast with the shape tool that can be used in curved so that it can be formed in such a way as to form an artistic frame. There is another drawback as well as the strengths of the Crop Tool is if you've cut the object can not be returned aka really cut (only by undo).
How, select the crop tool in the toolbox, highlight the area to be cropped. Adjust the top bottom left right by clicking on the drag boxes around it.
